This came in the mail today. It's a birthday present for the little big boy. Isn't he so adorable. The hard thing is going to be waiting till his birthday to give it to him. I absolutely love these dolls. When I first saw one of these dolls it was in one of my favorite blogs. The little diva knew she wanted one(okay I wanted one). So I went here http://puddinpopdesigns.blogspot.com/ and ordered one for the little diva. With the little big boy's birthday coming up I knew I wanted something special from the HMIC. So there you go two adorable Puddin Pop Kids have found a new home.

Here I Go Again!!
Here I go again and it's only the beginning. I thought I had finally finished putting everything in it's place. We just moved in two months ago, so I finally felt like I was done. Thanks to the deployment I'm starting to believe that I haven't even come close. It happens every time the HMIC deploys, I feel the need to decorate. So I paint walls, add furniture, move rooms around and keep busy with the house. So today I pulled stuff out of the closet that I thought I wasn't going to use. Finished tweaking the half bath that no one uses except Shiloh(our dog). Then I visited some blogs to get inspiration and came up with things I'd like to change. Will I make those changes? Who knows but for now they are great ideas.

Bitten
Yes,I too have been bitten by Twilight. This weekend we are having Twilight Family Night. We are going to watch the movies, have pizza and popcorn. So far the Teenager has refused to watch with us. I will be watching them for a second time.
This is how I got bit. I had to see what all the fuss was about. So I read the first book and then saw the movie(the books are always better). Had to read the second book before I saw that movie. So of course I couldn't wait and had to know what was going to happen so I read the next two books. I have to say I enjoyed the books and became an Edward Fan. He is a little hottie. The teenager calls me a nerd for having read all the books when he could have told me what was going to happen. NOT that he read them he just heard all the talk from the girls at school(Had to make sure I added that).
So why am I telling all this? Well last night or should I say early morning my sister sends a text to see if I was awake. Then she calls me after seeing New Moon. You guessed it she had to know what's going to happen. Looks like she too has been bitten.

Deployment
Here we go again another deployment has started. Hopefully everyone will do good and the kids can manage it better this time. We will wait and see. This weekend was chaotic and it went by so fast. We had a get together for the HMIC. It was nice to have all our friends together for a last time before he deployed. On Sunday the HMIC spent the whole day packing. Of course it's so like him to wait till the last minute. I secretly think he was hoping something would come up and he wouldn't have to go. As he was packing little big boy wanted to see if he could go too. He did fit but I think I'll keep him here.
The whole day I had mixed emotions. I'm not new to this rodeo so I know what to expect. So I did what every wife who's been here before does. We put on that brave face and say everything will be fine. Making sure not to show anything else. Don't want to make anyone worry about anything. The HMIC needs to know everything is good while he is away. The kids need to know that mom is not worried, so they don't have to be either. Sure we have our weak moments but we have them in private. When no one is around and only for a few seconds. Then we pull ourselves together and continue what we were doing.
Monday was the day the HMIC deployed. He was still trying to do things till the last minute. So here is what we saw.
Bags ready to go. With all their belongings for there time away.
Loading there bags.
<
Saying good-bye.
Walking to the bus. Which will take them to go wait for their plane.
The bus is ready to go.
The Pre-Teen trying to be strong and hold it together.
Then they were gone just like that. So now our journey beings!!!

Where to start??
Where do I start??? I'm starting this blog as a way to try to keep the HMIC aka Hubby updated on our lives. Not sure how many times he will have access to a computer. So if he ever comes across one he can look here and see what we have been up too. Hopefully once he leaves I will stick to this. I'm going to try to make a couple of entries a week.
Wish me luck!!!
