6 Months
Look who's starting to sit with no support!!!! I'm so happy for her accomplishments but so sad at the same time. She is our last baby and I'm trying to hold on to that. Enjoying her and everything she does. Taking the time to just hold her and not wanting her to grow to fast. But my pause button on my remote is broken no matter how hard I press nothing happens. I wonder if I have some sort of warranty on my remote.

Potty War Continues!!
We are still in the midst of this war! At times I feel like the end is in sight. Finally we saw some results. The doctor said to bribe him but just a bribe didn't work. Then the light bulb moment came. We made a chart to record the progress. A star for each time he goes potty in the toilet. With a goal of a toy at Wally world. I know there are alot of squares in the chart but I need it to become a habit. If not he will get the toy and say no thanks mom to the toilet. Let's just say we are in our fourth day of no pee-pee undies. With all that being said the war continues in the poo- poo department. He doesn't want to go in the toilet. He will sit there for hours. So today we will make an only poo-poo chart. This is the challenging one so there are less square.Hope this works because bribing him with a coke isn't working. Wish us luck in this war that is taking longer than we taught.

Making Life Easier
Trying to make things easier for myself. The two older boys now have to make dinner 1 night a week. That's two nights I don't have to come up with something to make or cook anything. Whatever they want to make is fine. If it's something a little complicated I will supervise but will not help. The rest of the nights have been assigned as well.
Sunday- Family Night (this is where I try to make a meal that takes a bit to make)
Monday- Crockpot Night (I hate having to cook on Mondays so anything that makes itself works for me)
Tuesday- Pre-teen's Night
Wednesday- Mexican/Italian Night
Thursday- Teenager's Night
Friday- Easy Night (anything that won't take that long to make)
Saturday- Pizza Night (I normally make the dough during the week when I have some time)
This works out pretty good. I try to plan out the meals for two weeks. This way I only go to the grocery store twice a month. This saves me time and money. As for the boys cooking night they don't mind cooking. Sure we've been eating hotdogs and grill cheese sandwiches but at least I don't have to cook that night. So you won't hear me complaining.

Our Week
This week was my 17th wedding anniversary. Some friends came by and took me out to breakfast. As for the HMIC and I we decided to change the day this year. We will pick a day when he gets home and act as if it's our anniversary.
We also had some friends stop by. He was kind enough to tackle my Honey Do list. It started with a few things but the list kept growing. Not sure if he wanted to or got told to do it by the Mrs.. Either way my Honey Do list is done.
That's one good thing about the military we have picked up some great true friends along the way. Thanks guys!
We are up and running again! New and improved it even has a bell.
This week was the HMIC's birthday he turned 36. He's no longer the scrawny teenager I married. He tried to party like a Rock star but didn't have much success.
So we made a cake, sang happy birthday then had cake and ice cream. The little big boy said it was his birthday too. He thinks just cause he shares the day with me he shares it with everyone else.
What a difference a year makes!
School finally let out for summer break. It's no longer quiet in the mornings, afternoon or evenings. I am trying to tune in my skill of tuning everything out. That's gonna take some work. Hopefully it will come in soon. Made some summer rules to try to keep some order. Hopefully they will work.
We put together our Summer List. Let's see what we will accomplish this summer.(The pic will come soon since my camerae has gone missing.)
I hope this will be a good summer and I don't lose the rest of my mind I have left. I am becoming very forgetful. I forget everything and where I put everything.
*Example: When my aunt left she told me she left her phone charger. So I put it on the counter to remind myself to send it out. Well for the past three weeks I have been asking everyone if they know who's charger that was. I even called my friends who have been by and asked if they left their charger here. Finally yesterday I had an Aawwhh moment. While I was telling someone I didn't know who's charger that was. It finally dawned on me! I remember it was my aunt's. Hopefully she has a back up.
That's what we have been up to.

Craft Project
The little diva needed a place to display her collection she has going. Really I wanted a big framed picture for this but haven't come across it yet. I only want to pay ten dollars and not a penny over. So I will continue to look on Craig's and the yard sales. For now this will do the trick till that day comes.
I had this picture frame thrown in my closet.
Got some fabric and cut out the little diva's initial.
Put some wonder under on it and ironed it on the fabric.
Framed it.
Was going to staple the ribbon to the back but couldn't find it (aka: the garage is a mess).
My trusty glue gun did the trick just as well.
There you have it!
A place for the little diva to display her hair (or lack of) accessories.
I know the frame looks lost with the wall. I'm thinking of painting it. Just don't know what color?

What a day
Wordless was the least of my day yesterday. It was one of those long days. That night I only had 4 hours of sleep. Don't you hate it when you wake up an hour before your gonna get up? Well I do cause I can't go back to sleep knowing I have to be up soon. So I was up at 5 waiting for 6 to roll around. Then I was up the pre-teen wanted my help with his hair. He's growing it out AGAIN. It's finally long enough to run the straightener through his hair. This summer I will get him his own. That way I won't have to get up to help him. Since I was up already I decided to start my day. I checked my email, got on a few sites and heard from the HMIC. When the kids left for school I decided to take my shower while the little ones were asleep. Then the teenager sends me a text that he missed the bus. So there goes my shower. I skipped that part and just got dressed. Now I have to get the little ones up early and get them dressed. Once the teenager gets home he informs me that he lost his envelope for his fundraiser. I had just handed him $30 when he left for my tickets. Not only does this kid need a ride now, he also needs more money. Now I've dished out $90 bucks $30 for my tickets and $60 to replace the tickets and money he lost. The teenager tells me not to worry he will pay me back. With no job it's hard to pay someone. The teenager says don't worry mom I'm gonna sell the games I don't use anymore. To which I reply oh you mean the ones we bought with our money. And of course the envelope was just in his back pocket, not in his backpack like it should of been. We stopped at walmart to get the teenagers tubes for their bikes and a helmet for the little big boy. The little big boy was so excited he wore the helmet most of the day yesterday. I get home and start on some chores. The little big boy was dying to try out his helmet so we went outside for a while. That was till a bee kept going after the little diva. Inside we go after that. I start on dinner while I wait for the maintenance guy to show up. That's one perk for living on base. You can call someone and they will send someone over to fix the problem. I no longer have to wait on the HMIC to fix something. They even changed my porch lights and oven light. The little big boy thought that was the perfect time to go to the playground while I was distracted with the maintenance guy. Off to the playground I go for a toddler wearing a helmet. Then battle him over time out. After that I worked on some projects. I had started spray painting a small table I had but ran out of paint. The can didn't have that much in it but I knew I had a new can. If you saw the way our garage looks you'd understand why I didn't find the can. The teenager lets me know I will be giving two friends a ride. The HMIC's truck is still packed from his office junk so I had to make room(I'm using the trunk for now it didn't want to start right up from sitting there). I put all his junk on other stuff in the garage but I found that new can of spray paint. OFF to finish my project I go. By then it was time to go for the teenager. As I was leaving I realized my stickers were expired. I had forgotten to put the new ones on. By the time I found them and put them on I was a little late picking them up. As I backed up I heard some noise and stopped. When I went to look it was the little big boy's tricycle.

That's right!! I ran it over with the HMIC's truck.

I felt so bad the tricycle didn't stand a chance. The little big boy had just gotten his new helmet. I threw the tricycle in the truck and left to pick up the boys. The HMIC had sent me to autozone as well for some stuff to put in the gas tanks. That crap was ten dollars a can and I needed three. When we got home the little big boy was looking for his bike. I didn't have the heart to tell him the truth. So I lied and said someone took it. Now I need to replace a tricycle. Money spent in two days $210 just like that. So much for trying to pay things off while the HMIC is away. Does anyone have a money tree? If your wondering if I ever showered? Well it was midnight by the time I got to bed and had no energy for a shower. However this morning I did get a chance to take one. Not a nice relaxing one but a quick one. The little diva was already waiting on me to start her day.

Purseaholic
I'm so proud of myself!! No I didn't lose weight or get an award for the best mom or not lose my temper or stuck to my diet. However I did walk away. This weekend my friend called and invited me out for the day. Now initially I wanted to say NO. Just thinking of getting all dressed, the little diva dressed and hoping everything goes well is enough to keep me home. But I have decided to start venturing out more. That includes outside my house (walks) and being more social with my neighbors. Back to my story. So I told her okay and she wanted to go to the beach or outlets. The beach with all my kids and just me to supervise them was a definite NO. So to the outlets it was. Only the little diva and I went. She was sooo good not even crying once. I'm not really a clothes person. I hate shopping for clothes especially for myself. A purse that's a different story. I'm not really in the market for a new purse. We went into the Dooney store just to look. What's the first thing I see? A table full of purses on SALE. Of course I see one I like. Then on another table there are more bags on SALE. Some are so cute that I think it can be used as a diaper bag with the little diva's initials on it. Then I look out and notice the Coach store looking at me as well. So I leave Dooney and go to Coach. When I walked in they hand me a 20% off coupon. Do they not know they're no't doing me any favors. I start looking around they have some good deals going on. I get to the back of the store and the clearance is calling my name. Three bags especially and they are 50% off the sticker price. Plus I have my 20% off coupon. That's 70%off!!! Oh I thought I couldn't breathe at that moment. Let me explain how much and why I love purses. A purse will always look good on you. It will not shrink or look different once you get home. The way it looked at the store is the way it will look when you get home. To me a purse store is like a bar to an alcoholic. I wanted to buy the purses at Dooney and at the Coach store. But I didn't I walked away with the help of my friend's daughter. Instead I bought myself a pretzel to help me forget about them. (Oh those pretty bags I can still see you on my arm. You will stay at the store and I will only see you in my dreams.)
Though I must confess something to you. Friday night while flipping the channels I stopped on a home shopping show. YES, I ordered a purse. I thought it could be a purse/diaper bag. So my new bag is on it's way. Let's see how long I use it for and if I truly like it when it gets here. I know I shouldn't buy them. The high only last for a month or two then up on my closet shelf it goes to sit there and just look pretty. I am confessing to you all I am a PURSEAHOLIC.

Raising Boys??
How to raise boys? Most of the time raising my boys has been pretty easy. They are laid back and not to dramatic. Their looks aren't a high priority for boys either. However always moving, making friends and finding where you fit in hasn't always been easy for the pre-teen. That always takes him a little longer than the teenager. I always feel extremely bad very time we move and as they get older it gets harder. The only thing that makes it better is knowing we are almost at the end of the HMIC's military career and the moving. So with every new school comes a new set of issues. The one we hit was suspension. This is new to us but I was a little surprised it hadn't happened yet. You see the school he is in right now is different to say the least. When I first went to sign him up I really wanted to run the other way. But I went in and told myself I would not judge it before getting to know it. Well my first impression has been pretty right on. Having come from a pretty good school to their has been an adjustment to all of us. Now I know kids are just being kids and there's a little of everything everywhere. However here it has been a little more or maybe it's the age. So yesterday it happened our first suspension. For an altercation( shoving match). Do I want my kid to be fighting at school or anywhere else NO. Do I want him to stick up for himself and not get bullied YES. So where do you draw the line? Is this only the being? Is this when it starts get harder to raise boys? To bad they didn't come with instruction manuals.

Home Tour
Here is our temporary home. This the place we will call home for the next couple of years. I try to make it feel as homey as possible. There is only so much you can do in base housing to make it feel different.
This is my front porch. I want to add more flowers to the flowerbeds but since I don't have a green thumb I have to take it slow. If I don't kill the potted plants then I will try the flowerbeds.
